PW Writings

About

What this is.

A small press for original novels, run by one person.

PW Writings is a place to read original novels written by one author. There is no algorithm, no recommendations, no infinite scroll. There are books, and you can read them.

How it works

A subscription opens the full catalog — every novel, every chapter, no per-book purchases needed. Monthly or yearly, cancellable any time. The first 25 subscribers lock in a permanently lower Founding Reader rate.

If subscribing feels like a leap before you’ve read anything, the alternative is a free account: pick one book from the introductory selection and read it straight through, no card. The title you choose stays in your library. One free pick per reader. If you’d rather own a particular book outright than subscribe, you can buy any single title individually too. That’s the whole pricing story.

About the writing

The work here is human-created and AI-written. PW conceives, directs, and finishes every book — the idea, the characters, the world, the plot, the themes, the choices about what happens, and the final say on every page. The prose itself is drafted with a large language model working under PW's direction.

Every book in the catalog is made this way. There's no hidden subset of "human-only" books and no badge to unlock — this is how PW Writings produces fiction, full stop. If that's a deal-breaker for you, better to know now than feel misled later.

About the First Readers

Before each book is published, it goes through a small First Readers program. A handful of readers (usually two) get an early copy of the finished manuscript in exchange for honest feedback — what worked, what didn't, what made them stop reading. Their notes shape the final pass.

First Readers are credited by name in the finished book, with their permission. The program is open in rounds and listed on the relevant book's page when it's accepting readers; spots are limited and fill quickly. There's no payment in either direction — readers don't pay for the early copy, and we don't pay for the feedback. It's a fair trade: a real say in how the book reads, and a credit that lasts as long as the book does.

About payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. PW Writings doesn't see, store, or have access to your card details. If a purchase wasn't what you hoped for, email info@pwwritings.com within 24 hours and we'll sort it out. (An automated refund flow is in the works; until that ships, refunds happen by email and they happen.)
